Dryer making a thumping and squealing racket when running

Had to supervene upon front drum back up rollers. Removed screws underneath peak in back that held subclass that keeps peak in identify. Slid top towards rear and lifted up. Removed 4 screws that hold plastic front end panel in place (inside..two on each corner) Unplugged front panel electric plugs to remove panel. Opened door..removed 2 screws at lesser of door opening. Removed screws on top of front panel. Unplugged door switch plug. Removed front panel. Removed right front roller with 9/16th wrench for nut. Adjustable for back of stud. Lifted upwards on drum to get roller out. Reversed to install. Left roller a bit harder to get to stud. Removed and installed same every bit right side. Did not endeavour to supersede rear rollers. Accept them if needed but very much more than involved to replace.

Dryer would run with no oestrus

I actually went to mr fix information technology on u tube. Great instruction on how to take dryer apart. First I unplugged the dryer. I found I could reach the heating organization by removing the lint tube in the back of the dryer. I put my I phone with the light on within the back of the dryer and tested the connections to encounter if all were working. The thermal fuse was not working. I removed the 2 wires , blood-red on top and white on the bottom. Then used a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the ii mounting screws and removed the fuse. I so used a vacuum to clear whatsoever lint from the back of the dryer and within the dryer. This took me about an hr and a one-half. I did it this way considering I did not desire to disassemble the entire dryer to become to the components. I received the fuse in 3 days and tested information technology. It was fine. I then put it in the dryer screwed information technology in identify, connected the wires. Replaced the lint tube. This took well-nigh 10 minutes. Dryer is running bang-up.

Screeching during operation

Found disassembly video and watched several times. Suspected that 1 of the drum wheels had seized upwards. Establish farthermost volume of lint and hair inside unit also as a dryer sheet melted on top of heating unit. Front left drum wheel was worn down from lint and hair jamming its move. Video made it easy, not a really complicated piece of machinery. Replaced all 4 wheels due to normal wear on other 3. Wanted to exist certain drum evenly counterbalanced on all four. Parts came quickly and were easy to install. My sister and I did this together. Would not recommend doing it alone. Took fourth dimension to vac and wipe down entire unit. Now it runs then quiet we have to wait to see if it is operating. Got a make new car out of it, saved a couple of hundred dollars in repair bills, and found 11 cents inside the machine. For your own piece of heed, if you have had your dryer for several years, you demand to open it upward and clean it out. Its not hard... added notation, we are both in our threescore's... so if we tin can do it so tin can you lot.... Such a feeling of accomplishment, tin can't buy that in a shop....
